The Evolution of Blogging From In World

I made my first blog post from a 3D space in 2003 using Squeak’s Wonderland, but the editor was pretty awkward. Today, you can blog from Second Life but the editor is pretty much non-existent.  In the future, we’ll be able to run Firefox within Second Life but you can run Firefox from within Croquet right now and use the WordPress editor. By summer, I suspect that the volume of in-world blogging will really start to crank up and it will be clear, even to many in the “Second Life is overhyped” crowd, that the meshverse is really transforming our relationship to computers and communications.
